2017 Village Survey Results Summary

  • 102 responses were received, paper and online via Survey Monkey – 10% return rate for paper survey (348 delivered) which is very high
  • Two winners of the Café vouchers were selected randomly from those respondents who supplied their details
  • 78% of respondents were female
  • Majority of respondents were aged between 26-45 (17%), 45-65 (42%) and 66-75 (30%)
  • 50/50 Working or retired respondents, 93% respondents own a car
  • Generally, people find out what is on by using What’s On, Parish Magazine and notices put out by ‘Pennoyers’, but all media types were ticked
  • Most popular activities are Café, Craft Fairs, Film Night and Evening Inn – clearly influenced by numbers attending
  • 18 people had hired the venue privately and cited facilities and location as main reason; only 50% of users cited price as a factor; resident discount was only cited by 2 people
  • Overall high levels of satisfaction with ‘Pennoyers’ offer 
  • Highest scores – 9.27 for accessibility; 9.06 for friendliness of staff; 9.0 for free Wifi; 8.8 for ambience and 8.55 for food
  • Lowest averages – opening hours 7.78; parking 6.65
