What's On

The Café at The Pennoyer Centre opens Monday to Saturday, 9.30am - 3.30pm, serving light lunches, speciality teas & coffees, home-made cakes. Daily specials. Fully licensed. Free Wi-Fi.

Film Night – Goodbye Christopher Robin

Friday 20th April, 7.15pm for 8pm start

After leaving London for the English countryside, writer A.A. Milne starts to spin fanciful yarns about his son's growing collection of stuffed animals. These stories form the basis for "Winnie-the-Pooh" and "The House at Pooh Corner". Milne and his family soon become swept up in the instant success of the books, while the enchanting tales bring hope and comfort to the rest of post-war England.

Adnams Cheese & Wine Evening

Friday 27th April, 7pm

Join us for an evening full of fantastic wine and delicious cheese from all over the world. Test your wine palate with a fun ‘call my bluff’ quiz, will you be able to tell which Adnams wine expert is telling the truth?

Evening Inn Curry Night & performace from Brother Pit

Friday 4th May, 6.30pm - 11pm

Come to this popular monthly event and enjoy local real ale on tap, a wonderful selection of gin and spirits. This month it’s our Curry Night, with food served between 7pm & 9pm. We also have live music from Brother Pit. All welcome. Free entry.

Quiz Night

Friday 11th May, 7pm for 7.30pm start

This quiz is always very popular with Katie as Quiz Master, so book your team in quickly. Teams of up to 6 people. Fish and chips served in the interval. £10 (or £4.50 without food). Booking Essential.       

Dawn Chorus Walk & Breakfast

Sunday 13th May, 4am        

Celebration of International Dawn Chorus Day with a walk around Pulham countryside led by local bird expert Sid Batty. Introduction to the mysteries of birdsong during a 3-4 mile walk. All walkers will be rewarded by a hearty cooked breakfast on return to the Pennoyer Centre. £14.50 Adults / £7.50 Children under 12.

The BIG South Norfolk Litter Pick

Sunday 13th May, 9:45am

Meet at the Centre for the Pulham St Mary litter pick. All sacks, litter pickers and protective equipment provided.  Children to be accompanied by an adult. Refreshments provided. There’s even some prizes up for grabs sponsored by Smurfit Kappa.

Film Night - Finding Your Feet

Friday 18th May, 7:15pm for 8pm start

On the eve of retirement a middle class, judgmental snob discovers her husband has been having an affair with her best friend and is forced into exile with her bohemian sister who lives on an impoverished inner-city council estate. Booking advisable. £5 in advance, £5.50 on the door.

Royal Wedding Celebrations

We will be showing the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle on the big screen. Royal themed food & fizz available. Free entry.

FA Cup Final Screening

Come and watch the FA Cup Final on the big screen, enjoy a drink and some food.

'Arty Film' - Camille Claudel

Thursday 24th May, 7pm

Camille Claudel was a highly imaginative sculptor who came from a conservative, rural background. Many films have been made about her extraordinary life and doomed passion for the sculptor Auguste Rodin.  £10 per head, a glass of wine included, booking advisable.

Dove & Boweevil

The first of many live performances, Dove & Boweevil will be performing as a duo with their passion for blues and soul.
