Film Night - Darkest Hour

Friday 15th June, 7.15pm for 8pm start

Darkest Hour is a 2017 war drama film directed by Joe Wright and written by Anthony McCarten. It stars Gary Oldman as Winston Churchill, and is an account of his early days as Prime Minister, as Nazi Germany swept across Western Europe, threatening to defeat the United Kingdom during World War II. Booking advisable. £5 in advance, £5.50 on the door.

Summer Beer & Gin Festival

Due to the success of our annual Beer & Gin Festival in December, we have decided to hold a summer one! A great weekend promised with plenty local real ales to sample, and our gin bar with 10 artisan options to try, each with a tailored garnish. The bar will also be open with coffee, wines, soft drinks and a fully licensed bar. Treat yourself to a delicious wood fired pizza from The Proper Pizza Co. We will also have paella, chilli, wraps & nachos from Trio’s Catering & Events. All welcome. Free entry.

Quiz Night

This quiz is always very popular with Jon as Quiz Master, so book your team in quickly. Teams of up to 6 people. Fish and chips served in the interval. £10 (or £4.50 without food). All the money in the World follows the kidnapping of 16-year-old John Paul Getty III (Charlie Plummer) and the desperate attempt by his devoted mother Gail (Michelle Williams) to convince his billionaire grandfather (Christopher Plummer) to pay the ransom.
