The Café at The Pennoyer Centre opens Monday to Saturday, 9.30am - 3.30pm, serving light lunches, speciality teas & coffees, home-made cakes. Daily specials. Fully licensed. Free Wi-Fi.

WHAT'S ON - March 2018n -  April & May 201     

Paint a Pot - with Heather Richards Ceremics

Saturday 24th February, 12pm - 4pm

The brilliant local artist Heather Richards will be bringing a variety of lovely ceramics for children (or adults!) to paint. Have fun and create something unique and special for Mother’s Day. Heather will also be bringing a few of her own hand painted, fun & quirky designs, oh how we do love her painted hares! Either way you should be able to find the perfect Mother’s Day gift.

 'Arty Film' - Camille Claudel

Thursday 1st March, 7pm

Camille Claudel was a highly imaginative sculptor who came from a conservative, rural background. Many films have been made about her extraordinary life and doomed passion for the sculptor Auguste Rodin. £10 per head, a glass of wine included, booking advisable.

Evening Inn and Curry Night

Friday 2nd March 6.30pm - 11.30pm

Come to this popular monthly event and enjoy local real ale on tap, a wonderful selection of gin and spirits. This month it’s our Curry Night, with food served between 7pm & 9pm. Along with coffee, wines, soft drinks and a full bar. All welcome. Free entry.

Quiz Night

Friday 9th March, 7pm for 7.30pm start

This quiz is always very popular with Malcolm as Quiz Master, so book your team in quickly. Teams of up to 6 people. Fish and chips served in the interval. £9.50 (or £4.50 without food). Booking Essential. 

Mother's Day Afternoon Tea

Saturday 10th March, 1.30pm – 4.30pm

Treat your mum or someone special to a Afternoon Tea for Mother’s Day. Enjoy a delicious selection of finger sandwiches, cream scones, sausage rolls & homemade cakes all served on vintage mismatched china and accompanied by a pot of tea. £15 per head, £18.50 with a glass of fizz! Booking essential.

Film Night – Murder on the Orient Express

Friday 16th March, 7.15pm for 8pm start

A lavish trip through Europe quickly unfolds into a race against time to solve a murder aboard a train. When an avalanche stops the Orient Express dead in its tracks, the world's greatest detective Hercule Poirot arrives to interrogate all passengers and search for clues before the killer can strike again. Booking advisable. £5 in advance, £5.50 on the door.

Spring Craft Fair

Saturday 24th March, 10.30pm – 3.00pm

Over 25 local craft stalls, all from local crafters, artisans and designer makers. Browse for Easter gifts, or just treat yourself. Stalls include jewellery, art, ceramics, cards, handcrafted chocolates, bags, textiles and gifts. The cafe will be open with a special craft fair menu, as well as hot and cold drinks and a fully licensed bar. Free Entry.

Easter Egg Hunt

Saturday 31st March, 1.00pm – 3.30pm

Join us for some Easter Fun! Children can enjoy a Easter Egg Hunt around the centre along with many Easter themed crafts. There will also be a prize for the best dressed and entry is free! The cafe will be open for food and refreshments as usual.    

Art Exhibition - Rachel Lee

Monday 19th March - Friday 6th April 

Exhibition from local designer Rachel Lee. Rachel runs a small studio in Pulham St Mary called ‘The Animals Of’ selling homewares and gifts with unique animal illustration. There will be a mixture of past favourites and new work created especially for this exhibition. Rachel works with watercolours, photography and digital processes and is currently focusing on tropical plants and succulents.

Mixed Media Art Workshops
