The Café at The Pennoyer Centre opens Monday to Saturday, 9.30am - 3.30pm, serving light lunches, speciality teas & coffees, home-made cakes. Daily specials. Fully licensed. Free Wi-Fi.

Film Night – Lion

Friday 21st July
7.15pm for 8pm start

After getting lost on a train and travelling many miles away from his home, a 5 year old Indian Boy has to survive on the streets. He is eventually adopted by an Australian couple and taken to live in Tasmania. As an adult, he has strong memories of his childhood and sets out to find his hometown and biological family
Booking advised. £5.00 in advance, £5.50 on the door.  Ice creams in interval.

Evening Inn & Annual BBQ

Friday 4th August
6.30pm – 11pm

You are invited to join us for our Annual BBQ and Evening Inn, this year with the fabulous local company Funnells Kitchen in charge of the coals. They'll be cooking up locally sourced Blythburgh sausages, homemade burgers, dressed salad, creamy coleslaw, rolls, cheese and condiments. Along with coffee, wines, soft drinks, Pimms and a full bar. All welcome. Free entry

Vintage Afternoon Tea

Tuesday 22nd August

As part of the Harleston & Waveney Festival, join us for Afternoon Tea whilst listening to a wonderful show by local performers. Enjoy finger sandwiches, cream scones and a selection of homemade cakes with a pot of tea. All on our beautiful mismatched vintage china. 

Booking Essential. £14 per head, £17.50 with a glass of fizz.

Film Night- Hacksaw Ridge

Friday 18th  August
7.15pm for 8pm start

The true story of Desmond T. Doss (Andrew Garfield), who won the Congressional Medal of Honour despite refusing to bear arms during WWII on religious grounds. Doss was drafted and ostracized by fellow soldiers for his pacifist stance but went on to earn respect and adoration for his bravery, selflessness and compassion after he risked his life -- without firing a shot -- to save 75 men in the Battle of Okinawa 
Booking advised. £5.00 in advance, £5.50 on the door.  Ice creams in interval.
