The Café @ Pennoyer’s is currently looking for a Part Time Bar Assistant, working on zero hours contracts.
The Bar operates during Pennoyer Centre organised events and booked private functions
About the role
The successful candidate will be hard-working, friendly and outgoing, with a strong customer focus. We are looking for applicants who excel at team working and have good interpersonal skills. The Pennoyer Centre team includes volunteers, so the capacity to work with people of all abilities is essential.
Primarily the role will include assisting in serving both alcoholic and soft drinks from our bar but also operating the coffee machine as necessary. Our events are normally held on a Friday or Saturday evening but from time to time some may be held during the weekdays.
The role is offered on a zero hours contract and the successful candidate will be asked to attend evening and weekend events as necessary to cover the bar role. Salary in line with national minimum wage or living wage.
