The Café @ Pennoyer’s is currently looking for a part-time Café Assistant to work on a zero-hours contract.
The Café is open Monday to Saturday from 10.00am to 3.00pm, serving delicious food, homemade cakes and speciality coffees etc.
The successful candidates will be hard-working, friendly and outgoing, with good interpersonal skills and a strong customer focus. We are looking for applicants who also excel at working as part of a team. The Pennoyer Centre team includes volunteers, so the capacity to work with people of all abilities is essential.
Although previous catering experience is preferred, candidates with a passion for food and an aptitude for cooking will also be considered.
Full training will be given in all aspects of the role, including food preparation and food hygiene.
