Local photography tutor, Lucy Kayne, will be holding an Adobe Lightroom workshop for beginners on 13 August.
The workshop, which will run from 10am-4pm, will consist of a comprehensive introduction to Lightroom, covering theory and practical elements so that you can come away with a better understanding. The group will be kept to a maximum of four people to allow everyone to learn at a steady pace, with plenty of time for questions. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be included. Lunch can be pre-ordered from the Pennoyer Centre café if you wish.
The workshop will cover the following:
Understanding modules
Importing and organising images using flags, filters and star ratings
Camera calibration and lens correction
Cropping and straightening
Exposure, contrast, clarity and saturation
White balance
Sharpening and noise reduction
Spot removal – cloning and healing
Exporting images and file settings
Useful Lightroom shortcuts
You will also need to bring the following on the day:
Laptop with Lightroom installed, and power lead
An image to work with, in Raw format
Notebook and pen if you wish to take notes
